MD•8 is a telehealth platform that connects patients with independent, licensed physicians. Prescription medications, including compounded medications, are available only if prescribed after an online consultation with a licensed physician. Compounded medications (including compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide, and NAD+) are not approved by the FDA, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality. These medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies that operate under state board of pharmacy oversight and are required to meet USP compounding standards. Compounded medications are not brand-equivalent.
